Summer 2007 at Courtenay and District Museum

From the jaws of giant creatures to the tiniest microfossils this exhibit is sure to be a thrill for everyone!

Visit the Courtenay and District Museum this summer and experience the "The Thrill of Discovery!" exhibition featuring a newly displayed Tylosaurus (mosasaur) jaw and many new fossil specimens.

Also included in this exhibit is an area dedicated to microfossils, with a microscope to view slides of conodont teeth, radiolarians, pollen grains and other fascinating microfossils.

While you're visiting, experience the thrill of discovery first- hand by participating in one of the museum's fossil field tours.
