Photographing the Alberta and Montana Frontier, 1870-1930

This exhibition has been organized and circulated by the Glenbow Museum of Calgary, Alberta. Through their photographs, people with cameras recorded historical details, promoted businesses, reported events and helped to create an often romantic vision of the disappearing Western Frontier. Difficult as it was, photography from this frontier period was often informative and artistic. On display until Saturday May 14th.
