Museum members are in for a treat when they visit the gift shop December 1st to December 24th as they will receive a 25% discount on most items.
The shelves have been stocked with many fabulous Christmas gift ideas for adults and children alike.
For adults there is everything from journals to taste delights. The shop carries a large selection of journals including the popular woodland animal journals from England. Other favourites are designs featuring First Nations, nautical or coffee themes. A popular stocking stuffer is the magnetic note pad by Little Blue House which is designed and printed in Canada.
Other gift ideas are a great selection of very lovely tea towels, tea cozies and pot holders from Rain Goose, designed and printed in North Vancouver. Or you may want to pick up an autographed copy of Watershed Moments – an ideal gift with a local flavour. And speaking of local flavour, don’t forget that Elasmo dark and milk chocolate bars made by Hot Chocolates are always a good stocking stuffer. As is the Elasmosaur medium roast coffee locally roasted by Royston Roasting. Or pick up a soy candle or soap bar for a delightful scent made by local Royston Soapworks.
For children there are a ton of reasonably priced fun items to choose from. New in stock are dinosaur 3D placemats, puzzles, note pads, book marks and magnets. Coral Dunn, our amazing children’s stuffed toy guru, has been creating more awesome creatures. Her latest is a huge hammerhead shark.
We have a wide variety of children’s toys that would be perfect stocking stuffers: glitter balls, dinosaur snap bands, crystal grow sets, dig it out fossils and paint your own dinosaur to name just a few. New in the stuffy department are grizzly bears, foxes and great horned owls.
Please note that sale pricing does not apply to consignment items or to merchandise that is already marked down. BTW, don’t forget to bring your museum membership card with you to take advantage of this annual Christmas special.
