There is a lot of fun in store at the museum’s Spring Fling and Easter Things event which runs from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, April 1st!
The ever-popular petting zoo (courtesy of Shamrock Gumboots 4H Club) gives folks a chance to meet lambs, kids (baby goats), ducks, geese, bunnies and chickens.
We’ve also invited some special guests including Gillian from Detailed Face Painting who will paint faces for a small fee and the Hot Chocolates Easter Rabbit who will be here between 12:30 and 1 pm to hand out delicious chocolate samples.
The Elasmosaur mascot will be making an appearance for fun photo opportunities. And this year we welcome volunteers from MARS (Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society) who will be bringing a couple of their amazing birds of prey for everyone to see.
For the little ones we’ve planned an Easter craft and a Dinosaur Egg Hunt. People can also enter to win door prizes and try their luck at guessing games.
We hope you can join us. Admission is by donation with half of the proceeds going to the Shamrock Gumboots 4H Club.
