 The museum houses a wide range of newspapers, historic photos, interviews, maps, newspaper clipping files, early logging records, books and manuscripts, both published and unpublished, about the history of the Comox Valley and the north Island region. Most materials are available for research inquiries for a user fee, or free to museum members. Staff may also conduct more extensive research on your behalf on a fee-for-service basis. We are a repository for both information and 3-dimensional artifacts. Here are some examples from our collection:
