Live Music: Blaine Dunaway, Violin

Blaine Dunaway is a local composer, music teacher, violinist, and trumpet player. Known Canada-wide, his experience composing music spans many styles, ranging from 15-piece bands to meditation tracks. He teaches cello, violin, flugelhorn, trumpet, and beginner guitar to students of all ages.

Zoom Lecture: Tanya Richards – “Lest We Forget”

“Lest We Forget” is a unique scrapbook created in the 1970’s by Ruth Masters, to commemorate the men from the Comox Valley who died in the First and Second World Wars. Ruth spent years researching each individual and created pages of photographs and clippings pertaining to their lives.

New Exhibit: Inspired by Nature

Inspired by Nature features 11 beautiful textiles from the museum textile collection which reflects a diversity of locations, cultural backgrounds, techniques and designs. Staff chose the artifacts on display in the second-floor changing gallery for their diverse origins from donors and for nature-inspired designs and elements.
